Nursery environment
The nursery environment is separated into 2 area's (under 2's and 2 to 5's) using a variety of community play room dividers and a secure gate, allowing all children visibility into each area, this allows interaction with sibling's and other children. This also helps with the transition for our babies moving up to the larger room.
Our aim is to get children involved in as many activities as possible and we follow the early years foundation stage (EYFS) to ensure that all the children develop in each area of learning.
We believe that the environment is the third teacher in our practice following the parent as the first and ourselves as second.
Each day, a variety of activities are set out based on the children’s interests and development including messy activities such as textured body painting, sand play, water play and cooking for them to explore.
