The 2 to 5's room

Our 2-5 room cater for children aged 2 years to school age and work within a ratio of 2-3 years 4-1 and 3-5 years 8-1 children to staff ratio.

The room is bright, neutral and natural in colour and  is on one level opened planned into several distinct area's. Messy play, sand and water, construction, small world, creative, role play, and a quiet book area where the children can relax and read and look at books by themselves or share with their friends.

Children learn through play.  During the play sessions, children are encouraged to be independent and to make their own choices from a wide range of different activities.

A structure day is centred on individual learning where their progress is carefully observed and recorded by their key person.

This coupled with lots of fresh air, with direct access to outside provides a busy day for all.

At the end of their time with us the children will have increased levels of confidence and be socially interactive, thus the transition to full time school should be smooth and a logical progression of their continued learning.
