The baby and toddler room

Our baby room caters for children from the age of 3 months to 2 years. It has it's own sleeping room and nappy changing area and self contained kitchen area.

We work on a maximum of 1-3 Staff to child ratio with the continuity of staff being a priority.

Each child has their own daily diary filled out by their key worker detailing what they have been up to, nappy change times, sleep times and what they have eaten. We ask that you provide nappies and wipes for your baby along with any milk feeds - made up and clearly marked.

To ensure a smooth stress free transition from home to nursery life, convenient settling-in sessions are always arranged.  During these sessions your babies needs and any special requirement can be discussed with the nursery staff.

Our baby room staff understand how difficult joining a nursery can be for parents and babies and are experienced at helping to make it as comfortable as possible. They are enthusiastic and work hard to help give the babies the best start to their time at the nursery.

We will work closely with you to ensure your babies home routine is followed.  This provides continuity and stability for you and your child.  We love to include parents with their child’s development by giving them a daily diary and  feedback and by regularly discussing their child’s development journals.
